Her most recent article, “Good News on Reverse Mortgages” continues that trend by talking about the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 and how it effects reverse mortgages.
To help calm the fears that some seniors feel when they hear about the mortgage mess, Savage makes a point to say, “Let me make it clear that reverse mortgages had nothing to do with the mortgage mess. They are a safe and easy way for seniors to maintain control and ownership, while tapping equity for tax-free cash.”
