Genworth Home Equity Access recently updated its Marketing Solutions Portal, which enables brokers to streamline their direct marketing to business partners. By utilizing the portal, wholesale partners can customize pre-designed reverse mortgage collateral with their logo, picture, and contact information.
"The marketing solutions portal gives approved and active Genworth Broker Partners the ability to market to affinity partners, existing leads, and previous clients with a relatively small investment," said Jesse Passafiume, VP Wholesale for Genworth.
The portal provides professionally designed reverse mortgage PowerPoint presentations, brochures, flyers, and post cards that brokers can customize and send to clients. "The most successful partners found that having professional collateral packages to educate Affinity Partners and potential clients helps set them apart from the competition," added Passafiume.
One of the best features of the portal is that Genworth will handle all of the printing and back office work needed to send out the collateral to prospects. So instead of spending your time stuffing envelopes for direct mail, Genworth will take care of it so you can spend more time working with clients. The portal allows you to upload a spreadsheet of the people you want to mail the materials to or you have the option to send everything directly to your office.

One feature I’d like to see added is the ability to upload your own presentation or marketing piece. That way you could take advantage of the back office functionality with some of your own marketing collateral.
Overall its a great tool and as far as I know, Genworth is the only wholesaler that offers something like this. Other wholesalers like Financial Freedom and the Senior Lending Network offer pre-designed marketing materials but not the back office functionality that Glenworth’s marketing portal provides.
