Celink, the largest subservicer of reverse mortgage loans in the U.S., has hired Emily Ford as the company’s director of client relations. In her role, she is responsible for working with the client relations team, which services Celink’s expanding client base.
Celink’s client relationship team works to provide a single point of contact for account management and coordination of vendor oversight and compliance, audits, contract renewals and loan transfers, among other client projects. To the role, Ford brings experience working in business-to-business customer service, account management, sales operations, asset management, and client budget planning.
“I am committed to providing Celink partners with professional service and the expertise required to successfully manage their loan portfolio and create very satisfied borrowers,” Ford said in a press release.
Ford joins the company at a time when customer inquiries have recently increased on the heels of Home Equity Conversion Mortgage program changes administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
“The needs of our clients have grown significantly over the past 12 to 24 months as a result of increased regulation and HECM program changes,” said Ryan LaRose, chief operating officer. “Celink will continue to invest financial and human capital to ensure our clients are successful. Emily is an excellent addition to our hard-working, committed, and service-oriented staff.”
Celink was recently confirmed to be the subservicer for the former Financial Freedom reverse mortgage loan portfolio, which owner CIT Group recently reached an agreement to sell.
