American Advisors Group (AAG) today announced it is launching two new television commercials that it plans to air across several major, national networks.
Like past commercials, the new TV spots will continue to feature AAG National Spokesman Fred Thompson, only this time with the former U.S. Senator clearing up reverse mortgage misconceptions in a setting that resembles something like Capitol Hill.
The new spots, dubbed “The Facts” and an extended version of the previously launched “Working Together” commercial are the latest in a series of five new AAG advertisements directed toward American seniors.
Both commercials depict reverse mortgages as secure and proven financial tools that help today’s seniors age in place by providing a number of features including paying off bills, eliminating an existing mortgage, funding retirement and above all, Thompson says, “live a better life.”
“Today’s reverse mortgages are safer and smarter than ever and that’s a fact,” Thompson says in “Working Together,” which also highlights the congressional changes to the federal Home Equity Conversion Mortgage program enacted by the the Reverse Mortgage Stabilization Act of 2013 (H.R.2167).
The new commercials will air today on cable and national networks including ABC, NBS and CBS, stated AAG in a release.
“Early indicators and response from our first commercial in this series point to a very successful campaign,” said AAG Chief Marketing Officer Teague McGrath in a statement. “We expect to realize continued positive results with these two new spots. Television is a primary vehicle in AAG’s marketing strategy, helping us to broaden our reach and promote awareness of AAG as an industry thought leader.”
