Reverse mortgage software provider ReverseVision announced this week it has hired Jeff Birdsell as lead product manager.

Birdsell has more than 20 years of experience in reverse mortgage lending spanning software design and development focused on the industry. Most recently he has served as a consultant to high-volume reverse mortgage lenders on technology solutions and design with an eye toward improving efficiency.

“Jeff expands our team with current practical knowledge and deep understanding of all aspects of the reverse mortgage industry and, in particular, the needs of larger lenders. His addition to our team accelerates our plans to take ReverseVision products to the next level in breath and capabilities,” said John Button, president of ReverseVision. “His leadership and experience at Financial Freedom and, as a consultant, with many other firms in the industry is invaluable to our company as we extend our reverse mortgage software leadership position.”

Birdsell, who is a Certified Mortgage Banker, is a past board member of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association. 

ReverseVision was acquired in November by San Diego-based private equity firm TVC Capital LLC.
