Former Generation Mortgage Executive Vice President Sales Kim Kerrigan Smith has confirmed she has left Generation to pursue other opportunities.
“I chose to leave Generation,” Smith told RMD. “I really believe in [the reverse mortgage] product and my intention is to stay in this space and pursue different opportunities.”
Smith, who has been in the reverse mortgage business for more than five years has held previous roles with Financial Freedom and One Reverse Mortgage. Most recently, she ran wholesale at Generation.
Generation has not confirmed a new hire to fill Kerrigan’s prior role, and says as a matter of policy the company does not discuss individuals. With respect to future leadership changes, the company says it is continuing to seek new talent.
“We work in a dynamic industry, we’re growing as a business and we’re on the lookout for great talent,” said Colin Cushman, Generation’s chief of risk and strategy.
