Product Launched to Help Originators Grow Reverse Mortgage Business

December 9th, 2009  |  by John Yedinak Published in Marketing, News, Reverse Mortgage  |  11 Comments

DF Interactive announced the release of Reverse Mortgage in a Box to provide lenders with a “turn key” solution for the industry.  According to the company website, the system was developed by experts in the industry to facilitate a high efficiency and high volume reverse mortgage origination platform.

The product offers 10 different components ranging from a website, a CRM, a lead development system and other tools.

One of the unique aspects of the service is that it provides a proprietary Profile Testing System to help identify the right candidates to hire.  Assuming you find the right person, the service can also help you train the individual using its interactive web based system.

Companies aren’t required to utilize all of the different services according to Dan Farnsworth, CEO of DF Interactive.  He added that, “In many cases our clients might have some of their own components in place such as training and want to use our lead generation program along with several of our other services.”

DF Interactive also owns GotLeads, a reverse mortgage direct marketing provider.

Are these guys kidding? Click thru their ten panels and post a comment! They add little or nothing to the RM industry's reputation. Are they more sub-prime folks looking for another revenue source?

  • kpr2570

If this is what you get in a box…….

  • jamesanelson

A Profile Testing System? Are you kidding me!!!! What's wrong with seeking people who are honest, never EVER convicted of a Felony at any time in any State (or Country) and have a genuine interest in helping Seniors remain in their homes as long as they are physically able (or can)? Maybe the Industry needs a Profile Testing System for Lender Executives, Owners, and Lobby Gods.

  • The_Critic

I almost agreed with you until I got to your last sentence. You really make it hard on someone to find a way to compliment you. Honest, no felonies, and care for seniors — these are the right qualities to start with. Then add in a good dose of self-motivation, desire, a strong work ethic, compassion, and a lot of conern for seniors and you have the foundation for a good HECM originator.

  • jamesanelson

The only compliments I work for are from my Wife who says I leave a lot to be desired and my FHA Clients who suspect (and eventually learn) that
my first interest is always what is best for them. By the way, Mr. Critic,
you wouldn't be an Executive, Owner or Lobby God would you? Boy, would I have fun working for you!

  • The_Cynic

Their marketing package in Step 6 needs to be reported to NRMLA. The first thing in the right hand corner is an image of a “Uncle Sam” pointing out saying “Uncle Sam wants to help you.” Then on everything they label proceeds as equity income. This is a mortgage not income from equity. Who are these self proclaimed industry experts kidding?

As usual there is no concern for content. This stuff is at best dangerous. Are they NRMLA members? Since Mr. Peter Bell reads these comments I will assume, they have been reported.

Who are these alleged industry experts? Their names need to be exposed to the light of day.

  • The_Cynic

Oh, I forgot, the equity income is FOR LIFE. Do I ever have a lot to learn from these experts.
