Reverse Fortunes Adds New CRM and Improves Marketing Tools

December 1st, 2009  |  by admin Published in Marketing, News, Reverse Mortgage  |  6 Comments

image Reverse Fortunes rolled out a new set of features during its party at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego and Reverse Mortgage Daily got a first hand look at the new tools.

All of the updates were added with the individual reverse mortgage originator in mind and as someone who gets pitched on products and services all the time, it’s nice to hear someone is taking this approach.

Besides improving the design of the dashboard, the company added a new “Send A Card” feature which allows originators to customize thank you cards (or other mailings) and send them to their customers with just a few clicks.  So instead of spending hours stuffing envelopes for potential clients or customers, Reverse Fortunes handles all of the backend work so you can focus on working with clients.

The biggest addition comes in the form of a new customer relationship (CRM) system to replace the old ACT system.  ACT is a bloated piece of software that runs on your desktop but the new CMR solution from Kyliptix Solutions is web based and doesn’t require a large upfront investment like ACT.

The best feature of the CRM is that it gives originators the ability to run “quick quotes” for borrowers and if the customer qualifies, users can automatically push borrower data into the wholesalers system.

Starting in January, originators can submit their loan information to wholesalers using IBIS, Reverse Mortgage Solutions, and Reverse Vision software.

Reverse Fortunes also “teased” the release of its upcoming lead central feature which provides users an easy way to research and purchase leads directly through the system.  They expect this feature to be rolled out in January.

Last but not least the company added more customization features to its reverse mortgage websites.  Users can create their own custom reverse mortgage website for free to see the new options.

The team at reversefortunes.com continues to develop and provide quality, useful tools for reverse loan originators. Kudos! A real CRM that pushes data is another logical step in the right direction…..I'm looking forward to the lead central as well, having a centralized area for us all to comment on the validity of lead generation companies will allow us all to choose much more wisely. Well done!

While I applaud any movement to help Loan Originators tell the FHA HECM story to potential clients, “Quick Quotes” are worthless without the warning that the numbers are meaningless in this era of depressed Real Estate Values: NOTHING is meaningful until an FHA Appraisal is completed.
Too many Loan Originators are throwing around inflated numbers to impress Seniors with how much money one will receive.

I believe that most who do use the inflated house price as a way to get business do not last long! Once they try to justify reality after the fact, most seniors walk…..education first seems to work best, and while you may have come across the type that makes promises they cannot keep, these guys are leaving our world as they should to pursue other endeavors! (at least here in FL they are!)

    kpr2570,

While your statements are true, such tactics have also added to the image of reverse mortgage originators as “bogus reverse mortgage peddlers,” a phrase used by the Democratic state Chairwoman of your state to describe a party opponent whose election staff allegedly used some underhanded tactics with seniors. These originators not only need to leave the industry, they need to be drummed out. The sooner these tactics are gone, the better.
