Industry Veteran Joins MetLife Reverse Mortgage Division

October 2nd, 2009  |  by John Yedinak Published in MetLife, News, Reverse Mortgage  |  7 Comments

imageLongtime reverse mortgage industry veteran Monte Rose has joined MetLife as its area manager for southern California.  He will be responsible for growing the number of representatives and helping MetLife pick up market share.

Rose brings over 17 years of reverse mortgage experience to his new position and spent most of his career with Financial Freedom as its National Retail Sales Manager.  Talk to anyone in the business and they will say that he played an integral role in  Financial Freedom’s growth into a leading reverse mortgage lender.

Prior to joining MetLife, he founded MonteRose.Biz, a training, coaching, and consulting business for the reverse mortgage industry.

In an email to RMD, Rose said that he is required to remove himself from the training operation.

Monte is a positive addition to MetLife. Congratulations to both.

I feel certain that many of us will have the same mixed emotions as we loose our coach and mentor on a regular basis but wish him the very best in a role that is not new to him and one that will bring lots of value to an industry leader. Great marriage!

Congrats to Mr. Rose, I hope that this is a move that is for the best! On a side note, is WF taking over RMD.com? Those a re some LARGE ads in between the posts! I got a recruiting call from WF this week, it amazes me that they do not cross reference prior to calling to check and see that I already worked there before! With the uptick in these ads, I'm thinking that they are on another hiring binge? At the same time of year when they let go all of the non-essential and last in the door employees (assistants, etc)? Any thoughts?

It is sad that more people didn't feel the need to improve their RM career using MonteRose.biz. Monte is the best Manager and coach in our industry.

But, in any case, ML is very lucky to have him on their team. Now sit back and watch the Southern CA team grow by leaps and bounds. Then watch Monte's career with ML take off.

Congratulations to both ML and to Monte Rose!

Monte Rose is a great addition to MetLife's team. I am grateful I had the opportunity to work with him as a coach and I think, like Tim Linger that ML is very lucky to have him on their team.

Congratulations to both ML and to Monte Rose!
