Unfortunately only one article was not self-promotion. That article had an interesting borrower story but was lacking in almost every other way. The author did a reasonably poor job at writing and research. It is hard to believe that the Chicago Tribune printed it.

Now to self-promotion, if you have not read the press release by Liberty Street, please do. It is a wonderful example of irresponsible marketing. I hope Mr. Garcia has read it; he needs to. Here is an example of the kind of marketing, NRMLA should be monitoring and then censuring the sponsor.

In looking over the website for the latest credential, there is no real information other than the requirement to pass an examination. The website does not make any significant attempt at describing the program.

Finally the HULIQ article wants us to believe that seniors can find great deals where the FHA appraiser will come in with a much higher appraised value. That may occur but if they are that prevalent doesn't the author believe those transactions will eventually adversely impact appraised values?

Another interesting week of seeing what kind of education originators and lenders are promoting.
