Mortgage Cadence Strengthens Document Preparation Product

imageEnterprise Lending Solutions provider Mortgage Cadence recently announced they’ve engaged Weiner Brodsky Sidman Kider PC to provide expert insight and analysis on federal and state compliance and regulatory matters.  This  relationship should help strengthen Mortgage Cadence Finale’s reverse mortgage document preparation service.

Weiner Brodsky Sidman Kider PC is nationally recognized for their knowledge and understanding of the legal and business issues affecting the financial services industry. They have served as Special Counsel to the Mortgage Bankers Association of America on RESPA matters and currently serve as General Counsel to the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association.

Ensuring that reverse mortgage lenders stay in compliance will continue to get tougher as states pass specific laws for reverse mortgages.  Just a few weeks ago, state regulators in Massachusetts issued for cease and desist orders against reverse mortgage lenders due to not having the proper license required to originate reverse mortgages.
