Google Insight Shows Where Users Are Searching For Reverse Mortgages

Did you know that more people in Florida are using Google to search for reverse mortgages than any other state in the US? Neither did I until I came across Google’s new Insights For Search tool. According to Google, the new product was designed with the advertiser in mind. It provides more flexibility and functionality for advertisers and marketers to understand search behavior, and adds some cool new features like a world heat map to graphically display search volume and regional interest.
For example, if I want to see what areas of the country users are searching for reverse mortgages within the last year, Google provides a couple different graphs. Below is a heatmap of the US that shows where the most people are searching for reverse mortgages.
If you click on Florida, Google shows you which regions of Florida have the most interest in reverse mortgages. According to the results, Miami, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Orlando regions have the highest volume of people searching for reverse mortgages.
This is a great tool to help you get a better idea for where you should be spending your marketing dollars on the web. To try it out for yourself click the link below.

Is it a shocker that all of the most active search areas are the ones in the most trouble from the housing mess? Hmmmm…..
