This years NRMLA conference in San Diego had over 1200 people gathered to learn and exchange ideas on our small but booming segment of the mortgage industry.  Each day was filled with breakout sessions that touched on different industry topics and discussed how everyone could improve their reverse mortgage businesses.  We even got to meet Reverse Mortgage Daily’s favorite reverse mortgage spokesman, Robert Wagner.  Mr. Wagner and the people from LLS (thanks Meaghan & Jean) were so thrilled that RMD readers voted him as their favorite reverse mortgage spokesman, that Robert Wagner signed some copies of the NRMLA brochure for RMD readers.  I’ve got a limited supply so email me ASAP to get your signed copy!

While there is lots more to write about I’m going to try and wrap up my overall thoughts on the conference.  After all the sessions and meetings with different people I was exhausted, but excited about where our industry is headed.  Even though the reverse mortgage industry is small in relation to the overall mortgage business, I walked away from the conference knowing that the reverse mortgage business is where everyone wants to be.
