Reverse Mortgage Daily Group at LinkedIn

On a recent survey conducted on RMD readers, we found that the majority of readers find new loan officers or employees from industry contacts that they have.  Are the days of sites like Monster or Hot Jobs over?  Probably not, but for the reverse mortgage world we are looking to create a general place that reverse mortgage professionals can connect and I think LinkedIn could be a good place to start.

LinkedIn recently re-released their group feature so I thought this would be a great place for reverse mortgage professionals to connect.  LinkedIn is a free service that allows you to set up an online profile.  Think of it as a digital business card. It gives the user the ability to display contact information, business experience, web sites, blogs and more.  LinkedIn also offers an excellent messaging network that filters out people who you don’t already know which is great because we don’t all of our information getting out to the wrong people.

If you don’t have a profile on LinkedIn… you need to.  Think of it as the Facebook for business professionals.  Click the link below to join the group.
